Can someone help me? I am confused between packet logger and packet forwarder
The “packet forwarder” is the traditional name for software that runs on a gateway, manages the actual LoRa chip, and forwards the result, either directly to a server or by way of the gateway bridge.
What is the “packet logger” you are referring to? It might be a stand alone program run on a gateway in place of the packet forwarder for testing only (in that connection to a server would not be supported) or it might be something that records / displays the output of a the packet forwarder in parallel with any connection to a server.
