LoRa Collision Packet error

Hi brocaar,

The following error is returned from LoRa GW, would like to know when such an error occurs ?

“txpk_ack”:{“error”:“COLLISION_PACKET”}

When there is a collision with regards to scheduling a downlink :slight_smile: A gateway can only send a single downlink frame at a time. Depending the spreading-factor, sending a frame could block the gateway for ~ 1 second. When you are trying to send an other downlink within the same timeframe, you will get this error.

  1. Whether this error occurs when there are multiple LoRa devices are communicating ?
  2. How to avoid this error ?
