Gateways/xxx - LIVE LORAWAN FRAMES

In the UI, this display will not display any LoRaWAN Frames, unless an EndNode is Activated, having Requested and Joined the LoRaWAN Network.

Probably, this redundant UI Button/Choice should not be in this area of the UI, or when hovering over it, a caveat pop-up should tell the user that you need to have an EndNode connected to the LoRaWAN and sending data to get anything.

Note that the LoRaWAN tab under the gateway will give you all received LoRaWAN frames, under the device it will show you only the “authenticated” LoRaWAN frames (thus frames that passed the MIC and FCnt check).

When a device is not yet activated, there is no way to relate a LoRaWAN frame to a device

Right!
I’ve been ill for a while and am getting back to this today.
I deleted the End-Node from my configuration and under the Gateways, LIVE LORAWAN FRAMES Tab I am seeing repeated Join Requests, from the deleted End-Node.
I must not have waited a sufficient time previously to observe this data.
Impatience will be the end of me for sure.

Hello Orne,
Yes, I see that now. My earlier problems (my problems, not necessarily of my making) caused me to fail to properly observe system operations.
